nothing much but SUISSE came into my mind~

well nothing much to say these days..looks like it's finally Friday. fuhh~ another one week of working days is finally over..hmm,nex Monday would be 28th, so means that we are moving in to March..How so fast the time is moving..huhu.

Aha, Papa would be back from Switzerland today..yeay!! He went there for 6 days, since last Sunday. Can't wait for him to come home, the first thing i would grab is his Business Class toiletries bag..heheh..last time he went overseas, he brought back 2 of them, and there was Crabtree and Evelyn goodies..:) best! heheh, apart from that, i am sure he would be taking home lotsa Swiss chocolates..yummy! hehe..how I missed all those chocolates..Some years in the past, it's from 1997 to 2000..me and my brother used to travel all the way to Geneva,Switzerland, each winter, to be with our family..It was the time when Papa was posted there in the Malaysian Embassy. Too bad we didnt get the chance to go to school there..it was too expensive and Papa cannot afford 3 of his children studying there.. Only my younger bro and sis was together with them. And my bro was in a French school. Lucky for him, he can speak French fluently until today. huhu.*jealous* heheh..my lil sis grew up there, and she developed rosy cheeks because of the weather there..and apparently she managed to keep it until today.haha.that's what they gained from being in Swiss for 4 years..

I really wish I could go back to Switzerland, and enjoy the view of the Alps from the house again..*sigh*

Talking about the Alps, and now i can actually feel the chill (ehem, i am in an air-conditioned room,eheh)..I read in Utusan Online about the opposite-of-the-Alps weather we are experiencing in Msia..

Suhu 21 Mac dijangka 40% Celsius

KUALA LUMPUR 24 Feb. - Negara akan mengalami pancaran matahari paling terik pada 21 Mac ini dengan suhu dijangka mencecah 40 darjah Celsius ekoran fenomena ekuinoks.
Pada tarikh itu, matahari yang sedang bergerak dari kawasan hemisfera selatan ke hemisfera utara akan berada betul-betul di atas garisan khatulistiwa yang menyebabkan keadaan panas terik.
Jurucakap Pusat Ramalan Kaji Cuaca, Jabatan Perkhidmatan Kaji Cuaca ketika dihubungi di sini, hari ini berkata, pada masa itu, pancaran matahari akan tepat ke bumi yang menyebabkan keadaan bumi lebih panas dan suhu akan meningkat.
``Akibatnya, pada hari tersebut kita akan merasai cuaca yang amat panas kerana sinaran matahari yang terik.
``Bagaimanapun ia tidak berada di tahap yang membahayakan atau membimbangkan, tetapi diharapkan orang ramai tidak akan berjemur atau melakukan terlalu banyak aktiviti luar,'' katanya.
Jurucakap itu berkata demikian ketika diminta menjelaskan fenomena ekuinoks yang dikatakan menjadi penyebab kepada suhu panas sekarang.
Semalam Penolong Ketua Pengarah jabatan berkenaan, Wong Teck Kiong berkata, keadaan itu tidak dapat mengatasi rekod yang pernah dicatatkan iaitu 40.1 darjah Celsius pada 9 April 1998 di Chuping, Perlis.
Menurut jurucakap itu, ekuinoks bukanlah satu kejadian yang luar biasa yang berlaku secara tiba-tiba.
``Biasanya negara mengalami suasana panas begini dua kali setahun kerana kedudukan Malaysia berhampiran dengan garisan khatulistiwa,'' katanya.
Tambah jurucakap itu, pihaknya menjangkakan cuaca panas dan kering akan berlarutan sehingga penghujung bulan depan.
Bagaimanapun kata beliau, kebakaran hutan yang berlaku di beberapa tempat di seluruh negara sekarang bukan disebabkan oleh fenomena itu, tetapi pelbagai faktor lain termasuk kecuaian manusia.
``Kebakaran hutan yang kerap berlaku sekarang bukanlah disebabkan oleh fenomena ekuinoks ini,'' katanya.

Da Vinci's Mona Lisa's smile

I am halfway through Dan Brown's The Da Vinci Code and here is what i found about Mona Lisa's smile. Fyi, as stated in the book,"All descriptions of artwork,architecture,documents and secret rituals in this novel are accurate".

1) The background behind her face is uneven. The horizon line in the left is painted significantly lower than the right. By lowering it he made her look much larger from the left side than the right.It was said that historically left is the woman side and right is the man side.Because he was a big fan of feminine principles,he made mona lisa look more majestic from the left.

2) Da Vinci was homosexual.He was in tune with the balance between male and female.

3) There are rumours said that mona lisa is a picture of Da Vinci in drag. It is possibly true because according to researches,mona lisa and da vinci's self potret confirms some congruency in their faces.

4)Mona Lisa is neither male nor female. The picture is androgynous. Here is the clue that it is androgynous: The Egyptian god of masculine fertility is named Amon. Went to One Utama last Saturday and bought 2 things:

At last I bought this book! Couldn't resist anymore,i just spent all the remaining money in my wallet (eventhough in the first place i planned of not to buy anything :P)

A new pen for Mimi

Papa belanja us (or Mimi) a new pen. This time it is kind of 3 storeys,yeay!!.We cannot risk Mimi escaping anymore.Last Friday nite,she escaped and she ended up in the water drain in my bathroom,gosh,she was stuck there.Luckily, Akila found her (it's her strong instincts i guess) on time,or Mimi would end up dead of hypothermia or drowning. And luckily I could reach her and pull her out.It was kind of scary, Akila was crying so loud, and she made mama think twice of buying a new hamster if Mimi end up dead.Huhu..

does SIZE really matter?

aloha~~**wow,its been over a week i didn't update..huhu.ntahla,kind of not in the mood to write anything. .the computer at home is kind of lousy, so if i am in the mood i have to wait until working days. .speaking about working, well, i expect it is supposed to make me kinda exhausted, but for me, i just found out that after some months working and staying at home, i had actually gained 2 kgs!! and now i am gettin chubbier..huhu. after i weighed myself, and of course started freaking out, my mum just said.. "alaaa,takdenye gemuk mane pun, takyah risau la.." uhuhu..but my dad in the other hand, always like "haa,exercise la sket"..ok,so they had their own opinion..and i was thinking and i caught myself questioning "does SIZE really matter?"

ok,i admit i am kind of a chubby (i'd rather use this word rather than the other) girl. but fortunately after doing that darn BMI calculations, i found out that i am just slightly overweight, not obese..but even being a slightly-overweight girl is also a problem..not because of the fact that i am chubby, but the fact that when i am chubby, things suddenly have some stupid restrictions..that is the problem.so when u cannot overcome this restrictions, the best way is to lose weight..darn..what i mean by the restrictions would be like, (ok,this is a girl's major problem) buying new clothes.

i am a jeans lover.i just can't walk around,feeling nothing when i found an attractive jeans on sale. at least, i will have the urge to buy it.If i have enough money and no worries about it, i will purchase. but the problem is, everytime i want to try it on,i have a very difficult time finding the right size. so what if i need bigger size??everyone has the right to have it. everyone SHOULD have the right to wear that cool jeans! and i was like, "arghhh,bodoh tul,jual baju seluar sume saiz model, ingat sume org badan cam jennifer garner ke?" and what can i do, i just can put it back on the rack, and walk out of the store. *sob,sob* it is not fair, so not fair. not only jeans, even nice clothes have very limited sizes.damn.dont they ever think? everyone wants to look nice and confident,and i mean EVERY one.does size matter here? i dont think it should~!! even if there are plus sizes in the market, they all look so boring.oh so they think plus size people don't deserve to look fashionable too??beat it!~

another thing is about perception.believe it or not,there are still some stupid guys with some stupid perception. all they know is making sure that their gf looks pretty all the time..so they have to control themselves..u know,like eat little..think twice of buying that Baskin Robbins ice cream..even if they only have it like once every 2 months.or workout until half dead.sometimes they just dont even care of their gf's feelings. if they just make the regulations to their gf only, then that's fine. but here is this guy i know,he does not put the pressure to her gf only, he even puts the pressure on the his girl friends! damn. imagine,everytime he sees us,the first thing he said is "hey,u nampak makin kurus la,and u look makin gemuk.." and "hai,makan lagi?"..wtf?? and then there's this couple i heard about, the bf even threats the gf, if she puts on weight and look fatter, he will just ditch her.wtf again?? huhu..it is not that i am sayin being concerned about gf's weight and looks is wrong, but come on, there are better ways to do it. like being moderate.kinda like sayin "ala,gemuk sket takpe,skarang pun dah nice, tapi kalo kurus sket pun ok jugak" ..u know,it sounds less dictatorate to me..these men,they are just so egocentric. macam hensem sgt.haha.

see, the question of size really matter or not is actually subjective. i understand that different people have their different views.but hey, it is really necessary for some people to put pressure on plus sized people? losing weight is good, i know, but the pressure is not.sometimes the pressure could be hazardous. all it takes is some discipline and strong will. people do not need to make them feel inferior.a ah, no need.if you really want ur loved ones to look better, help them in the positive way,not by putting them in the place where their confidence will go in the drain. i myself would love to lose weight, at least the 2 kgs that i have gained. but, u know,i am thankful because my loved ones just keep on supporting me, regardless of me being underweight, overweight or healthy-weight :)*~~

Digi Daddy~~**

Yesterday we had a family dinner at Alamanda. Everyone was there except my brother Alefee, he was in Sabah for MASUM. So we chose The Chicken Rice Shop..yummy. The Tofu was delicious, i really love it. and the Pai Tee.Heaven. heheh. And then after dinner we all split and go in our own directions. Mama was like usual la,evtho we live so nearby, and she's like been in Alamanda like many times a week,she will always go to Carrefour. I dunno whats so interesting there (well,i admit the veges and fruits are crispy fresh,thats my favourite department) but then, other than that biasa je..ok,so me follo my daddy la..follow papa.there's this small trick i always use.well, maybe it only applies to me..but anyway, i think that everytime when i go with the family, and we all split, following papa is the best thing to do. becoz y, he will always go to shops that i usually don't go alone. plus yesterday i didnt bring my wallet.so kalau apape, can just mintak from him la.heheh. so i followed him,and then tiba2 dia kata nak tgk digi cam.in my heart i was like yeay!! haha.leh cucuk2 him,then i jadik tourist guide jap, show him the photo shops around there...okla,to shorten the story, suddenly he just made the decision to buy one.wow. so he did. a sony cyber shot DSC-T3. Damn. Typical papa, he always chose the best. heheh. Well, so you know la, papa is old school la,guna kamera masa perlu je. he's not the snap around type. balik rumah je, the one always with the camera would be me. and i cant get my hands off it. just lurve snapping around.heheh.here is the picture of it. nice huh? but if it's my money, i would buy the one with SOLID matte black colour.kinda smart..

Well,briefly,the specs is 5MP,MPEG movie,ermm,3x optical zoom,LargeLCD,Memory Stick and lain2 i cant remember. But for me it's superb!

rape victory~

huahua..what a title i got there..yesterday i was randomly hopping from one channel to another on my family's ASTRO and i came across Oprah Winfrey show..that time it was already 1.45 pm, so it meant that the show will be ending in 15 mins..eheh.not that i have never watched the show, nor that i do not know when is the airing time..just wasnt in the mood to watch talk shows. however,when i was out of channels to go, and there is no other interesting choice, i tgk jugakla..hehe..15 min pun ok la..

sometimes i find out that Oprah show title of the day is not always interesting..but yesterday, it was. it was about Rape..and it was not about the trauma.eventho i only had 15 mis to go on, i continued watching..there were these rape victims, bravely talking about their rape victories..means that they survived. of course i didnt get so much information for 15 minutes but i was quite impressed. ok ok, how they survive? i only got two stories..

This girl..she was walking around her campus, somewhere of course la in US..suddenly he was approached by this guy. Well, i dunno y she was walking alone and from her story it is obvious that the place was kind of sunyi..there were not many people around..actually she had noticed that guy earlier, stalking her..following her around..she had actually asked this guy what is it he wanted..she wasnt cool with that guy following her around..but the guy insisted to, saying that he just want to make sure that she will be safe *yeah,right*. And then the guy grabbed her, and tried to rape her..hmm,tau2 jela what he do.hold her down, and do the routine,but the girl was a fighter..huhu.she struggled,moving frantically sideways to prevent the guy from harming her..and guess what, this is quite funny, she peed on that guy! haha..and he was kind of terkejut i tink, and at that moment, she managed to run..and she ran and ran..never look back. so she survived. lucky girl.

OK,this one is funny too. The victim is an adult woman if i'm not mistaken..there was this guy, he broke into her house..at that moment maybe she was in her bedroom..sleeping, or whatver..then this guy approached her, and made an attempt to rape her..she was also pinned down..she was also a fighter..just as that guy took of his pants, she struggled hard until she managed to grab the guys penis..haha...hahaha..and then, she was holding it so hard it hurts, and she threats that guy, if he move or anything, she will go on and BREAK it or hurt it in any way..hahahahha.so funny..in the end,it was the guy who was begging to call 911!! hahahhaa..funny..and salute to her...:)

Can't really imagine what people do when they're desperate..There are so many possibilities ait?..:)
