Some people just hate filling up forms...

....And that includes Papa.
Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Last night i was induced by Papa to fill up his complicated, full of hassle LHDN Taksiran Sendiri Income Tax form. I have always heard the Taksiran Sendiri song in the radio, but i never thought that i will end up doing it, well, sort of doing it, myself. At least not until i have a permanent job. Heheh.

Anyway, this form have like 5-6 pages, and what you should fill in is not the things that you already know very well, but it requires you to dig through lots of slips and receipts. And, to add to the annoyance, you also have to refer to the Guide Book, almost each time because the terms used can cause some confusion. Hoho, and Papa was getting on his nerves because of this, because he really hate filling up forms, and read and think at the same time.

So i was the one writing, while he did the digging. With my habit of having minor mistakes here and there in my writings, i had a few generous scolds from him. And some reminders from mama. She was like " Kakak memang camni, dari kecik lagi, kalau tulis sikit mesti ada salah." Hehe. And all i did was smile =D

Well, the slogan is quite true too. "Taksiran Sendiri Bukti Berdikari". It really gives the lesson to people like Papa. Hahaha. Sian pulak, but what to do. Apape pun income tax kena bayar sehh!~

Writing forms reminds me of my fresh-school-leaver days. So many forms to fill back then, IPTA, Matriculation, JPA forms, PETRONAS forms, bla bla. And i ended up in UTP.

p/s: Papa rewarded me RM 10 for the job. Think i can make some money by filling up forms for him. Heheh.

No idea for a title.

Ok,first of all, have u guys heard the Backstreet Boys comeback song? If not, u definitely have to hear it! I almost cried when i heard the song, because i really miss them. Their voice are so charming, and it is as if they are complementing each other. And i love their music.

Huhu, now i feel like seeing them and asking loads of question of their comeback. And i definitely want to hug Kevin Richardson!~~ *arggghhhh...gileee*

More info at the spanking brand new BSB's Official website.

Anyway..

Last nite, i was playing around with the camera and snapped some shots of my messy,storage- room-like room. I have already uploaded it in my Flickr account, but i only put the nice pics. No need la to see all the messy-ness :P

I found all my birthday cards for this year, and i also took a shot.

Now, check this out:

See the beige envelope with my name on it? U can read my name there right? The writings is quite fancy.

Ok,now save it to your computer and open it in any photo-editing software.

Rotate it RIGHT,180°

Look at the envelope again, can u still read it?

Hehe..Emry did this ambigram special for me, after he read Dan Brown's Angels and Demons. The ambigram is used by an ancient brotherhood, Illuminati, for their symbols. Find out more, or perhaps learn to create your own at Dan Brown's website.

Cool huh? :)

pakar jurusan wanita~???

Oh dear, its Monday again. Eventhough my Mondays are always not as manic as some others, i am not fond of it nonetheless..

Yesterday i heard this song in the car.

Dah lama dah lagu ni on air, KRU nyanyi. And Adam (used to adore him masa AF2). But hey, i am not a diehard fan of AF ok? Watch it just for fun. The winner would always be the one who cannot sing well pun. And they always waste the talent. I thought Farah or Bob should be the winner. Whatever la korang. Hopefully AF3 would turn out better without the usual crap.

************************

KRU feat Adam
Terhangat di pasaran

Bilang saja berapa mata yang memandang
mengekori langkahku
Ini pun baru sahaja ku acah
lagak gaya penampilan segakku
Jangan kau buang masa melayan jejaka sekadar petah bicara
Usah rungsingkan fikiran
pilihlah aku saja
pakar jurusan wanita

Jangan ketinggalan
Tawaran yang istimewa
Kepuasan dijamin
Seratus peratus buatan Malaysia
Dapatkan segera
Sementara masih ada
Ku jantan rebutan
Yang terhangat di pasaran

Ku bisa kecapi segala mimpimu
Merealisasi semua impian hidup
Ku rasa kau sedar
Ku pilihan nyata

Tak henti-henti panggilan berderinguntuk merebut peluang bertutur
Belum kira barisan yang beraturhingga ke Singapura
menunggu janji temu
Ramai lelaki mengaku ’macho’ tapi hancur
hanya omomg kosong
Lainlah aku yang tampan, susuk tubuh menawan...
dapat kau pasti beruntung

chorus
Ooh.. Ooh.. ku tak sampai hat
iMelihat kau rugi menggigit jari
Kerana jika kau lepaskan peluang berharga
Bagai dijamu piranha aku disambar

Ayuh, lekas.. lekas.. sementara masih panas
Terimalah diriku.. gunakan tanpa was-was
Tawaran ditutup bila ku dah dicekup
Pastinya ku calon membuat kau terpegun.. ooohh
Ku bisa kecapi segala mimpimu
Merealisasi semua impian hidup
Ku rasa kau sedarKu pilihan nyata

And here i would like to announce that this is the most gelabah song i ever heard. Haha. In other words, this guy must be too swollen with pride he would die if he is rejected. Really cannot accept this if someone use this to get a girl. Haha.

The music is OK anyway, no reason to fire me, ok you fans ? :P~

Salam Maulidur Rasul~

Yeay, tomorrows a holiday! :D

Happy Maulidur Rasul everyone. Tomorrows gonna be The Prophet Muhammad's (pbuh) birthday. 12 RabiulAwal. Every year Muslims celebrate the birthday of Muhammad (pbuh) to remember the day he was sent by Allah s.w.t to guide the ummah. The celebration will involve Selawat Parades, Talks,Forums, Marhaban and Feasting, from village level until national level.

The Selawat recited during the Parade

By remembering the day, Muslims will learn to love prophet Muhammad more and appreciate his lifetime struggle to rise Islam, and also apply his virtues in everyday life . Eventhough the celebration is considered a custom, Muslims also take it as a form of ibadah and the practice will continue each year, insya Allah.

Rabiul Awal is one of the months in the Islamic calendar where it marks the beginning of spring. The name was created by the early people of Arab when during the month their plants will start to produce flowers and fruits. Since the arrival of Islam, prophet Muhammad (pbuh) has decided to keep the name until today.

Many major events were recorded happening during this month, relating to the rise and fall of the Islamic empire. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was born, chosen to be a Rasul, and died during this month.

Wish I could see him and wish him Happy Birthday. Heheh. Salam Maulidur Rasul =)

Think again people. Think again.

Its Deep Jungle Week now at National Geographic Channel. But, i missed most of the series. I didnt manage to find the time. BLEH.

There's a Deep Jungle Contest at NGC Asia. Tried my luck last week, hopefully i win. Eheh, i am so optimistic here. Not as usual. Heheh. Well, frankly i don't have a very good luck in terms of winning prizes and such. Throughout my life i only won a lucky draw once, and it was a night to remember.

Earlier, i hit the button to NGC Asia again. Just to kill time, i think i could find some interesting facts today. And indeed i did. Its NGC's new phrase -- THINK AGAIN. The animated banner at the homepage brought me to the Think Again page. I have to say it is interesting. There are some downloads, wallpapers and a screensaver. What intrigued me the most was the facts. Just a few of them, not too many where you can make a long list, but enough for you to simply think again. Click here and i will direct you to the page. Anyway, i really feel like sharing them, and here it goes..

1~ More people die annually from eating sharks than being eaten by sharks

2~ The tongue is one of the strongest muscles in the human body

3~ One of 10 people on earth is a Chinese farmer

4~ Dairy cows produce more milk when listening to classical music

5~ The air at the Everest summit is too thin to sustain a fire or fly a helicopter

6~ More people are killed annually by donkey and mules than in air crashes

7~ There are more atoms in a few drop of waters than stars in the universe

8~ The strawberry is a member of the rose family

9~ 75% of your brain is made of water

10~ In your lifetime you would probably swallow up to 10 spiders whilst sleeping

11~ In the Arctic, people use refrigerators to keep food from freezing

12~ It is very rare for a Venus Fly Trap to catch more than 3 insects its lifetime

Wohoho. There. It just makes you think again eh?

I instantly hit the address, ready to accept if its a kind of joke like FIENDSTER. Instead, i found out that Yagoohoogle is a twin search engine, obviously Yahoo! and Google. Find more info about Yagoohoogle here.

Think i could use this site for a faster way to search things. Neat. Really neat.

yes, yes.. i know i didn't update~ title: Friends for LIFE

ALohA~ wow, i haven't updated for like one week. lama seh~..

Went to OU last weekend, and accidentally met Amira. Cannot describe the feeling when I met her, think because we missed each other kot. And other girls too. We havent been hanging out together for so long already. Kind of got used to it, and felt awkward when we are not together. Our practical semester really puts us apart. Physically. Heheh.

Speaking of friends...ever wonder about the miracle of Friendster? Yeah, some people say its a waste of time. But hey, i never regret having one. Friendster brought me closer to my friends, especially old friends.

After 20 years of my life, today i feel glad that i managed to put lots of friends in my treasure box. With me being a natural born nomad, i think its an advantage because i could make more of them =D

1~ When we were in the Phillipines,my parents sent me to kindergarten at such an early age, which was 2 ½ yrs old. It was then i started to make friends, but i can't remember their names. huhu. But i still keep a picture of our class, and some pics of our major events. I wish i could meet the guy who danced with me during the Christmas celebs. Haha.

2~ Then when we came back from the Philippines,i was enrolled in Tadika Rasa Sayang, TTDI. It was fun back then, and i remember some close friends - Azim, Camelia, Mujan..There maybe others, but i really cant remember..isk. Thanx to Friendster, i found Rosana, which happened to be a good friend too. Found Mujan in UTP, but i dont blame her if she didn't recognize me. Huhu. Didnt get the chance to say hi coz i heard she flew to Australia shortly after.

3~ I started my Standard 1 in SKTTDI 1. It was a very brief period, the next thing i knew i was in SK Zainab 1, Kelantan (my kampung), still in Std 1. I remember the first day i was put in 1 Kuning, the second class. I sat in a group of 6 students kot. Learning the dialect was the biggest challenge for me, and i struggled to get along. I remembered that i once repeated what they were saying in Kelantanese, and that was when we started to click. Hehe, sweet. I still remember their names- Tengku Nor, Dayanna, Faisyara and Syamimi. Hey, if u guys happen to read this, please contact me ok?

4~ Then we had to move back to KL. TTDI again. But i continued my Std 4 in SKTTDI 2. There i met new friends. Fadhlina, Nadira, Adibah..and more. Hang out the most with Fadhlina and Nadira. Recently i already found both of them again, Fadhlina at OU and Nadira through Friendster =) When i moved to Std 5, i made a lot more. Erin, Ranjini, Aysha,Farah, Yasmin..and lots more. Started to have more male friends..Fazari, Edd,Zul,Kay Hooi,Zaimi..ramai lagi la. Now i found most of them, also through Friendster.

5~ I moved on to Form 1, also a brief time at SMTTDI. I remember Afra, and now i found her through Friendster jugak. Heheh. Then i was sent to a boarding school, with my first friend of SC Dungun, Farihah. She happens to be papa's friend's daughter. Of all friends, friends in SC Dungun are the ones that i had lots of good and bad memories with. We kind of grew up together actually, most of the days of 5 years there, we had each other. So i kept in touch with most of my close friends until today.

6~ When i finished SPM, i was called to UTP before the results came out. I had barely finished my high school studies when i was called for it. So in UTP i found more wonderful friends, which became my closest friends until today. There are few of them who left UTP though, Iznny and Laily. Laily's obviously here, u can see her link at my friends list. And Iznny went to a uni just near UTP. Now i miss them all. Cant wait to get back to UTP.

Of course there are more of them. Kalau nak listkan tak larat la pulak kan. Heheh. They will know who they are to me. Heheh. Friends are always important to me, besides my family. Can't imagine how someone can live without friends. Really la, friends are for life.

another change~

Hehe. Yup, tukar skin lagi :P.

I am a girl who always seek for a change. Haha. *yeah right*..

No, actually..I think that my previous blog was too dark. Dont u think so? But i liked the background though. Nvm la, i'll just keep it in case i feel like using it again later.

So what say you? Hows the new layout? Brighter eh? i really like the colour.. About Elijah, nah, nothing's going on between us. Trust me. Heheh. I'm thinking of changing the picture soon, when i have the time. Let him be there for the time being, since it was put there by the original designer.

Its nearly 5.30 already. Aiyooh, really have to go home now, but i have to wait for Papa. iskk..

Maybe i can modify the layout a lil bit more.

Hmm...

24 years YOUNG ~

Image hosted by Photobucket.comHappy Belated Birthday dear !! :D

Yesterday was Emry's birthday. 3 April. Now he is officially 24 years old,or should i say, young. Hehe. Lucky him it was the weekend, so we got the chance to go out on his birthday.

So yesterday we went for a birthday date at Just Pasta restaurant at Taipan USJ. I was planning to go there earlier as i got an SMS promotion from Malaysia Food Guide. But since his birthday was coming up, i decided to go there to belanja him. Actually i have never heard of the restaurant until i get the promotion. After receiving it I browsed the Internet and found out that the restaurant provides a unique collection of pasta cuisines. The cooking style is more to a fusion of Australian and Asian. Emry had Beef Lasagna, and i ordered a delicious pasta from the menu (i forgot the name). We also had Chicken Caesar Salad which was also so delicious! The price is affordable, and you would not hesitate to spend for their tasty cuisines. We left the restaurant with a promise to come again. Heheh. Find more info about Just Pasta here.

After a yummylicious encounter with Just Pasta, we headed straight to Sunway Pyramid for a movie. I felt like watching a scary movie, so we opt for Samara. Apparently Samara was not yet released, to my dissapointment I had stupidly chose White Noise instead. Only one word for White Noise - crap. So dont go watch it. We've already waste RM20 for it.

And oh, i gave Emry a leather wallet for his birthday :D. Glad he loved it. Heheh. I didnt get a chance to take the picture of it and us, as Papa took the digicam along with him to Geneva (*_*)

We had a wonderful weekend, despite the stupid movie. Wish the weekend could last longer.

I've got the baton.

Laily passed it to me. Heheh. Dunno how to get tagged or tag people but i think this is it.

1. What is the total amount of music files on your computer?
Huiyoo. Not really sure how many. Well, perhaps in a range of 400-600. Eheheh. Sikit je.

2. The CD you last bought?
I never bought any CD. But i bought a radio cassette, LIFEHOUSE's No Name Face.

3. What was the last song you listened to before reading this message?
Switch by Will Smith

4. Write down five songs that you often listen to or that mean a lot to you.
Laily knows i like this part. Some songs means a lot to me.

Blurry by Puddle of Mud
Haha. Reminds me of the time when i had a HUGE crush on Emry. And he did not have any idea at all. So i thought he was BLURry :P

Untukmu by Feminin
Wohooo..my favourite song when i was in Std 2. Me and my classmates even dance to it during the class party. Sweet.

All songs in BSB's Black & Blue
These songs remind me of my high school days. I used to carry my walkman with the songs playing during main petang.

Wherever you will go
This song reminds me of my first, innocent year in UTP. And of my new friends, (which of course has become my close friends now).

Kelly Clarkson's and Avril Lavigne's songs
Inspiring(if you know what i i mean) hehe. I just love their music.

5. Who are you going to pass this stick to (3 persons) and why
Ija a.k.a Rikku - because music is OUR life
Erin - because i feel like we have a lot of things to catch up
Druedana - looks like she can give good answers
